One Year Later...
One year ago today, I was stressing about all things wedding. A year ago on a Wednesday, Brian and I departed for our wedding weekend! We swung by and picked up Big E at the airport, and the girls commenced to drink mini-bottles of champagne until we had to beg Snake to pull over and let us get some potty relief. Ah, memories.
It seems like so much has changed, and yet so much has stayed the same. Both Snake and I have new jobs since the wedding. Snake has really taken to his new position, and is doing really well! I am loving my job as a "fabulousity coordinator." Yes, sometimes I want to scream when clients are freaking out over a shade of teal, but part of me knows the importance of such a distinction. We are still in our beautiful home, which I have dubbed the "Barbie Dream House", with no plans to move. We are loving our weekends and doing fun stuff like Steeplechase (oh, I should probably do a post on that fiasco.) and great beach weekends. I am still crazy about my husband, and he is about me! All in all, we are pretty lucky kids.
We are heading back to the scene to celebrate one year of wedded bliss. Part of me is sad that our "Newlywed Year" is over, but I am going to drown that with a little champagne.
For those of you that were a part of our big day, thank you! We are so lucky to have you in our lives.
